But Wright never said that homosexuality was responsible for Katrina. John McCain supporter Pastor John Hagee did.
Strangely enough, Wright runs a gays-inclusive ministry, even though the black church in general is one of the most homophobic places on Earth.

Great points however no one was burnt at the stake in 1692. They were all hanged. It was all politics as well.
